RBD (Refined, Bleached, And Deodorized) OLEIN (CP 8, CP 6, CP 10)

Palm Oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the fractionation of palm fruit or known as mesocarp of the fruit of the palm tree, generally from the ElaeisGuineensisspecies, and to a lesser extent from the ElaeisOleifera, and AttaleaMaripaspecies. Palm Oil is naturally red in color due to its high content of alpha and beta- carotenoids. Palm Oil is different from Palm Kernel Oil which is produced from the core of the same fruit.

Palm Oil is also different from coconut oil which is produced from the kernel of the coconut fruit (CocosNucifera). The difference is in the color (Palm Kernel Oil has no carotenoids so it is not red), and the saturated fat content. RBD Palm Olein is a yellow liquid product at room temperature which is used as cooking oil. In addition, this product is also used in the oleochemical industry, as well as to make soap and candle.
